3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content available on or through Dewel Movies infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification to our designated agent. Under the DMCA, your notice must include:

1
Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple works are covered, provide a representative list.
3
Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (e.g., URL, title, creator name on Dewel Movies).
4
Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address.
5
A statement of good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6
A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Warning: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

4. How We Process Takedown Notices

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content promptly.
  • Notify the user who uploaded the content that it has been removed.
  • Provide the uploader with a copy of the takedown notice (with your contact information).
  • Inform the uploader of their right to file a counter-notification.

5. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent. Your counter-notification must include:

Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, and telephone number.
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your address (or if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which Dewel may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within 10-14 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the removed content.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Dewel has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.

We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement. This includes creators who repeatedly upload content they do not own or have rights to distribute.

7. Reporting Other Intellectual Property Violations

If you believe content on Dewel Movies violates your trademark or other intellectual property rights (other than copyright), please contact us at legal@dewelnetwork.com with a detailed description of the alleged violation, including the specific content in question and evidence of your rights.
